    Internship/Practicum

    The Expansion Collective is dedicated to fostering social work and therapy students into becoming excellent clinicians. With quality training, supervision, and professional support, students can explore their interests and learn more about the field to best determine their career path after graduation.

    Students will have access to training and experience working with trauma, relationships, and sex therapy. They will also have the opportunity to engage in advanced training in treatment modalities so that they can start their career with more skills than provided in their programs.

    Associate/Provisional Licensed Therapists

    As with our internship program, The Expansion Collective created a comprehensive program to develop new graduates into high-quality and skilled clinicians. These employees will receive supervision under an LCSW and will learn the basics of working at and managing operations at a private group practice.

    Provisionally licensed therapists will receive training on documentation, taking insurance, treatment options, and other parts of clinical practice. Associate therapists will be encouraged to create a training and consultation plan with their supervisor to obtain certification and expertise in the issue or population of their choice.

    Fully-Licensed Therapists

    The Expansion Collective is interested in partnering with professionals seeking to work outside of the box in a group that strives for anti-oppressive practice. We chose to be labeled as a collective, because we value the opinions and knowledge of our therapists on how to continuously improve and provide top quality care to our employees and our clients.

    Fully-licensed therapists will have access to the same training programs and opportunities as other employees so that they can continue to develop their skills and fill any gaps they may have in learning or experience.
